The only thing hotter than the weather South of the Mason Dixon line are the boys. Worn, faded blue jeans, slow Southern drawls, and those naughty moments in the back of pickup trucks a girl never forgets.

Welcome to the world of the Sutton boys.

Five brothers who fight, party, drink a little too much, but more importantly, they love their momma. Nothing can tear them apart… until the girl next door wins more than one of their hearts

For those of you who don’t know, parts of this novel originally came from a short story called “Asher” it was episode one in a series called Boys South of the Mason Dixon that Abbi Glines penned under the pseudonym, Effy Vaughn. That’s how I was first introduced to the five Sutton boys, so when I found out that Glines wanted to expand that short story and develop a full novel for a new series I couldn’t wait to read it! I had enjoyed Asher but because it was a short story, and only episode one, it left a lot of things unresolved. Boys South of the Mason Dixon dives into things a whole lot further and gives a lot more insight into the five Sutton boys as well as our main heroine, Dixie.

Abbi Glines has yet again written an addictive cast of characters that you can’t seem to get enough of! I was absolutely hooked on Asher and Dixie and loved the flashbacks to the past to show just how much these two loved each other and how things had gotten so far off track. While Asher and Dixie are at the centre of this story you also get a taste of what’s going on in the lives of the other four Sutton boys. There is a particularly interesting storyline developing between Bray and Brent, but I won’t give anything away! Let me just say that I can’t wait to see what Abbi Glines has in store for us next! If you love a good contemporary romance then this is definitely a book you should check out!
