Slice Book 3
Release Date: February 6
It was just supposed to be one night.
No kissing. No feelings. A wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am tangle in the sheets and we go our own ways.
Only it’s a small town, and I was bound to run into the irresistible Porter Jones again.
I just didn’t expect it to be at my job interview…which he’s conducting.
Now the live-in nanny to his adorable seven-year-old daughter, I’m doing my best to avoid falling for his charms.
Except it’s much harder than either of us anticipated.
What’s a few romps between friends?
No kissing. No feelings. Just fun.
Sounds simple, right?
This one is my favourite of the series, that’s right I said it! Teagan Hunter brings readers back to the world of Slice (is it bad that every time I read this series I want to eat all the pizza!) I love that throughout the story we get glimpses of the couples from the previous two books and get to see into what their life is like now.
In Doughn’t Let Me Go, Porter is our leading man and what a swoon-worthy one he is! I love the relationship he shares with his 7 year old daughter, Kyrie. Kyrie was definitely a highlight for me in this story. She’s sassy and witty and definitely keeps everyone on their toes. I would love to see more of her, or even a story for grown-up Kyrie, she’s a force!
Dory was such an interesting match for Porter and I loved the instant connection between them. Hunter found the perfect balance of instant attraction and a slow burn romance for these two and I didn’t want to put it down. As usual we are hit with a new batch of pizza puns and you can’t help but have a smile on your face while reading. Overall, this was a great single dad romance and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did!
I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
